My series of birds I painted for an advanced painting class at UHCL. I was working on the owl when Hurricane Ike decided to come crashing through Galveston. I was sure it was going to be ruined after receiving numerous calls from the school saying the buildings were hit pretty hard. We could finally return to class after a couple of weeks and there he was sitting there against the window, untouched. I was stoked. His name is Ike
This is my Flamingo; I love her

For the last one, I painted a peacock. Her name is Penelope. My Grandma had just passed away and I wanted to paint something to remind me of her. Her birth month was December, and the flower for that month is the Narcissus. May not look much like them but that's what is in the background.
